Andrey Petrovich Sereda, MD, professor 

In 2008 completed in advance the postgraduate military course in "surgery" and "traumatology and orthopaedics" specialities at State Post-graduate institute for medical practitioners under Defense Ministry of Russian Federation and ahead of time defended a candidate's thesis on "Application of locked compression plates for forearm defects reconstruction". Since 2008 is lecturing to trauma and orthopaedic surgeons. In 2010 resigned from military service and started working at the traumatology and orthopaedics clinic at the First Moscow medical university named after I.M.Sechenov. In 2015 defended a doctor's thesis dedicated to the treatment issues of Achilles tendon ruptures.

In 2015 was appointed director of the Federal research and clinical center of sports medicine and rehabilitation under Federal medical and biological agency of Russian Federation.

Dr.Sereda is the author of 14 inventions, more than 230 scientific publications in national and foreign journals including four monographs and five guidance manuals.

Is a member of working group for sports medicine development at the presidential council of the Russian Federation for development of physical culture and sports.

As of November 9th, 2016, by order of the Government of the Russian Federation was appointed deputy head of the Federal medical and biological agency of the Russian Federation.
