SPECIALITY – surgical and conservative treatment of injuries and diseases of knee joint:
- Arthroscopic procedures for treatment of meniscus and ligaments;
- Complex reconstruction of multiple ligament lesions;
- Cartilage defects repair (grafting);
- Stabilizing procedures for patella dislocation;
- Synovectomies and capsulotomies;
- Internal fixation in acute and neglected fractures of femoral and tibial condyles as well as patella;
- Mobilizing procedures in cases of deformities;
- Cystectomy in the knee joint;
- Corrective periarticular osteotomies of femur and tibia;
- Unicondylar knee replacement;
- Total and revision knee replacement.
Since 1999 works in Russian research institute of traumatology and orthopaedics named after R.R.Vreden under the Russian Health ministry.
POSITION: professor at faculty of traumatology and orthopaedics, chief of clinical department No.17, leading research fellow at department of knee pathology.
ACADEMIC DEGREE: doctor of medicine
PUBLICATIONS: 3 monographs, 7 chapters in guidance manuals, two manuals, 17 inventions and patents, 8 text-books and instructions, 251 publications in national and foreign medical journals.
PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP: Association of trauma and orthopaedic surgeons of Russia; ESSKA (European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy).
