The authors overviewed particular features of TKA in patients with valgus deformity. The questions of epidemiology, distinctive bone and soft tissues abnormalities, optimal surgical approaches and deformity correction methods, as well as treatment results and complications were discussed. Authors came to the conclusion of lacking commonly accepted and reliable algorithm that would help the surgeons to deal with valgus knee in TKA.

Представлены взгляды современных авторов на особенности тотального эндопротезирования при вальгусной деформации коленного сустава. На основании данных литературы произведен анализ частоты встречаемости этой патологии, вовлечения различных костных и мягкотканных образований коленного сустава в патологический процесс, различных хирургических доступов, этапов устранения деформации, типичных осложнений, а также ближайших и отдаленных результатов хирургического лечения. Сделан вывод об отсутствия единого подхода к выбору тактики хирургического лечения и неоднозначности результатов хирургического лечения по данным разных авторов.
