Spastic upper limb represents a complex multilevel abnormality progressing with age and leading to increased suffering of the patient. Little interest towards surgical correction of spastic upper limb along with insufficient awareness on surgical rehabilitation options leaves considerable number of patients without relevant treatment.</p><p>The present paper describes advances and complexities of orthopaedic correction for spastic arm in ICP, key classifications used and treatment outcomes based on scientific literature analysis.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Специфическое поражение  верхней  конечности  при  спастических  формах  ДЦп в значительной степени ограничивает возможности самообслуживания, обучение письму, затрудняет передвижение с помощью дополнительных  средств  опоры  и снижает  возможности трудовой  деятельности. Спастическое поражение  верхней конечности  является сложным  многоуровневым пороком, прогрессирующим с возрастом  и приводящим к ещё большим  страданиям. Слабый  интерес  к коррекции спастических  деформаций верхних  конечностей  и недостаточная  информированность  о возможностях  хирургической  реабилитации  оставляет   значительную  часть нуждающихся пациентов без лечения.
